I think i rewatched it like 2 times now, which the first and second rewatch were kind of far from Season2 release. So i get what you mean by not wanting to rewatch it. There’s definitely some characters in season 2 that are just thrown in there like :”we’ve always been here”.. Which clearly were never really introduced in season 1. i seriously question the animation ph team if weather they read the manga for 2nd season or not. bcs i think this 2nd season should be canceled. it’s sinfully boring
i thought there’s something wrong with me when i feel no excitement whatsoever watching this. i’m glad i’m not the only one. it’s extremely boring compared to the amazing, emotional roller-coaster plot of the first season.
I really don’t get it. I’ve heard seaon2 was bad. But i’m on episode 8 and reallly i’m having a blast watching it. Perhaps not as exciting and plot twisting as the first season, but i’m really liking it so far!

Gotta agree with Rupix, the show really picks up with Kizuna as she does prompt for the story to progress but come on most of us watching including web novel readers and light novel readers know that the elephant in the room is Rishia, this character that just gets shoved into Naofumi’s group, she feels forced and apparently happens to be useful all of sudden when she wasn’t for Itsuki the bow hero and worst off is she enters into conversations and even the Filo and Raphtalia dynamic with Naofumi, she was put in some much this season as a… Read more »
that’s because Itsuki never tried to help Rishia grow. she was mistreated by his whole party and forced into a role she was unsuited for.
Naofumi is the only one that could have uncovered her latent ability for ki mastery, as he saved the old lady in S1, and actually pays attention to her unique gifts (despite how annoying she is)
