I’m so conflicted about this anime. On the one hand, it’s got great reviews on Reddit and in the comments here and it LOOKS amazing, but on the other hand…. It’s a disgusting pedophile (he was watching his little niece showering on the television while jacking off) who got reincarnated and now gets to live out his wildest dreams in a fantasy world… his “trauma” from being bullied was resolved way too fast to be taken serious and he says and does such perverted things at 6(?) years old. Watching this will probably put me on a list.
Semi- Spoiler (i’ve read the manga) he has a lot of issues in this new world, so don’t just pass it off as he gets the free pass since the first 3 episodes are so happy gogo, it’ll start changing its tune within a couple episodes. {that’s all i’m gonna say so I don’t risk pissing off everyone who hates spoilers}

The jerking in front of the niece is not accurate, please recheck the anime if you got motivation (not sure with regard of this comment). Personnally it is the first Isekai I read as a novel and as a manga, I will enjoy it to the fullest, because it is in my point of view the best Isekaï story ever and one of the oldest.

i did not say “in front of his niece” i said he was watching his niece (taking a shower or something) on tv while jerking off. as in, he was watching childporn. The reincarnation is not actually the guy transfered to another body, but a child who got the memory of his past self. Here even if Rudeus got his old body back when facing Itogami, he is Rudeus the child.

When the family members look at the tv when they came to kick him out, you can slightly see a persons legs/body. In the manga/webtoon it is confirmed that that was his very much underage niece who was taking a shower.

Ep 11 was last episode for season 1 and it aired here last week, but when i looked at the schedule for today, i found mushoku tensei in the schedule for today, i thought there was another episode lol

Anyway, as we’re heading into new season, schedule will be updated day by day.
I havent been able to find anything about a release date for s2:e1. Are there any updates?
