look at how they massacred my boy
not to say that this remake isn’t good, I haven’t even watched it yet, but the way he looks now looks so bizzare
They did really well with the first episode
I guess watching this is better than the crap that’s out there now.

Has a few throw back moments, and it seems like the CGI team is only told to do their best on certain parts so it’s hard to tell if it’ll be good.
a lot of people complaining about the 3D but it really isn’t that bad they’re just bugging out, and can’t handle the ‘change’ and growth of the animation not to mention a lot of people are just shitting on remakes in on itself, sure a lot of remakes aren’t as good as their originals but that doesn’t apply to everything, just being babies Of course it isn’t perfect, the animation and the models arent as dirty as they’re supposed to be in a desert world but 3D animation still has a way to go, its 2023 we arent gonna stick… Read more »
If the technology isn’t there to do it right they could have easily just not made a 3D Trigun in the first place, not like this series needed a reboot. Not to mention the butchering of the story so far is worse than any shitty animation.
so far the only differences I see are the reporters and the initial setting of the story, and the animation isn’t bad at all
Making them into news reporters is was just weird also who the f is Roberto and where the f is Milly? The Nebraska family are completely different people in terms of personality. And don’t get me started on Knives.
I can understand your thoughts on the reporters replacing the originals but I think the current knives is pretty cool
Personally, I love the CGI in this remake. I love the look and feel of the original, but hand drawn is hard work and theres a lot of cut corners in it. The CGI lets the animaters put some really pretty moments in it. I find Vash’s new hair cut a massive let down though. I dont like the music, they really should have tried to stick with the same feel as the originals soundtrack. Plot seems a bitdifferent so far, and thats ok I guess. If I think of it as “not Trigun” then it’s not a terrible anime so far, it already has a couple plot hole holes but nothing catastrophic yet. Vash is still entertaining if a bit more openly emo (I don’t hate him but he doesn’t feel quite on point with the original) Maryle and Roberto make a decent if not cliché duo they pay off each other well but outside of being walking tools for exposition I don’t see what they add to the story yet (they don’t have the charm of Maryle and Millie but they aren’t terrible) As… Read more »
