i think thats what happened, the author doesnt care about his title “trying hardest in the new world” stuff. so its just sad rudy being sad now. RIP this series.

It was just one episode. It got better. Just for a moment there it seemed like it was going down the path of re zero. never again. I’ve had enough of my own stupid mistakes in relationships, depressive episodes and the like, I don’t need to watch someone else go through that to learn not to do that. and I didn’t enjoy all that while I was in it, so why tf would I want to watch someone else go through that? It just dredges up all my own self made trauma.

I honestly thought they were going to NTR Eris. My writer senses were tingling saying that Eris wanted to give her V to Rudy “out of true love” but accept being a concubine in order to continue her families’ status, leaving a goodbye note to Rudy. I would have stopped watching, if that were the case. Not that it would be bad writing, it’s just I’m getting sick of all this NTR shit. I honestly think, they thought of this too and decided not to. Good decision.
